Mike will share his practical framework for creating fair equity splits among co-founders, early team members, advisors, and contributors.

This session is designed for founders, startup teams, small business owners, advisors, investors, and anyone supporting early-stage companies. Attendees will learn how the Slicing Pie model helps teams avoid common equity mistakes, reduce founder conflict, and make more transparent ownership decisions.

Mike is a Jayhawk and will be back in town for the 9th annual Back2KC homecoming. Rebecca and Jessica have been referring Slicing Pie to founders for more than a decade, and we’re excited to bring Mike and his framework to the KC founder community.

The educational session will be followed by a Women’s Business Center networking happy hour with founders, business leaders, advisors, investors, and ecosystem partners from across the region.
